Maggie Valley Inn

Nice website, terrible place to stay. Rooms are in dire need of remodeling. The kind of place you get up extra early just to get out of. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Welcome to Maggie Valley

From Maggie Valleys best photographer, Susie Blackmon.

TreeTop Cabin

Cabin- TreeTop- Sheepback Mountain - One of my favorites. A true hand hewn and hand made log home. Rustic, great for a family with kids. Plenty of room inside and decorated with a nice cabin feel. No view of the valley but you are surrounded by mountains, has a hot tub and is private. Watch your way out of the drive at the bottom, can be a tire popper on the first turn to the right out to the road. Adventure Rentals

Golden View

Cabin- Golden View on Sheepback Mountain. Very afforable, basic no frills stick built home but clean. The porch faces east so morning coffee on the deck is blinding and Ghost Town is on the next mountain so during the day and early night you hear all the noise one would expect from a small, gun dueling theme park. View of Maggie Valley is very nice at 4300 feet. Small water heater so showers are short. Adventure Rentals.

Well thanks to the current renters my cabin is now a strict NO PETS cabin. Sorry to all the honest responsible pet owners out there. One bad bunch ruins it for everybody.

What part of SMALL PETS don't people understand??

Found out this morning that the two "small dogs" that my renters this week own are 2 labs. 2 BIG ARSE DOGS.

....... and on the eight day God created Maggie Valley.

I wonder if this is so cute when they do it at home?

Renting it out.

In 2000 we looked high and low to find the right property to put our dream cabin on. It took to 2004 to find Maggie Valley NC and beautiful Sheepback Mountain. We got lucky and found the perfect builder, Benitez Homes and the rest is history, well sort of. During the years leading up to and during construction we stopped at antique stores from Asheville all the way down to Sarasota, Florida to find the perfect things to furnish it. We picked the best of the best we could find and put top of the line stainless appliances in and HDTVs. It was a dream come true. The economic bust of 2007 came along and as a last resort we turned it over to a rental company. At first I was excited to share our dream and what we had created with people. We had many great renters whom all loved it as much as we do. All was well until a couple from Georgia came for a visit. They took pillow cases, a set of towels and our "life is good" coffee mugs. Now what sane person would want pillow cases from someone else’s home? I know these things are trivial and I have been told "things will get taken and things will get broken" but man that sucks! So as this year progresses I am going to fret and worry about my dream cabin in the mountains. I want people to enjoy themselves, have fun and get to see the areas points of interest. I just hope my cabin in the mountains (and my nerves) survives the wear and tear.
